AL A'RAAF — Ayat 16
16
قَالَ فَبِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path.
Tafsir Ibnu Katsir
قَالَ فَبِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ - ثُمَّ لآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَـنِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَآئِلِهِمْ وَلاَ تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَـكِرِينَ
16. (Iblis) said: â€Because You have `Aghwaytni', surely, I will sit in wait against them (human beings on Your straight path. 17. â€Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them to be thankful.'') Allah said that after He gave respite to Shaytan,
