فِي صُحُفٍ مُّكَرَّمَةٍ

[It is recorded] in honored sheets,

Tafseer

{ في صحف } خبر ثان لأنها وما قبله اعتراض { مكرمة } عند الله.

{In the pages} is a second piece of news because it and what precedes it are an interruption {honor} from God.
