مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ

From what substance did He create him?

{ من أي شيءٍ خلقه } استفهام تقرير، ثم بينه فقال:

{From what thing did He create him?} is a question of confirmation. Then He explained it by saying:
