44 : 17

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ

And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger,

Tafseer

{ ولقد فتنا } بلونا { قبلهم قوم فرعون } معه { وجاءهم رسول } هو موسى عليه السلام { كريم } على الله تعالى .

{And We had certainly tried} with a trial {before them the people of Pharaoh} with him {and there came to them a Messenger} who was Moses, peace be upon him {honorable} to God Almighty.
