هُنَالِكَ ابْتُلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَزُلْزِلُوا زِلْزَالًا شَدِيدًا

There the believers were tested and shaken with a severe shaking.

Tafseer

{ هنالك ابتُليَ المؤمنون } اختبروا ليتبين المخلص من غيره { وزلزلوا } حركوا { زلزالا شديدا } من شدة الفزع.

{There the believers were tested} they were tested to distinguish the sincere from the non-sincere {and they were shaken} they were moved {with a severe earthquake} from the intensity of the fear.
