33 : 63

يَسْأَلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا

Tafseer

People ask you concerning the Hour. Say," Knowledge of it is only with Allah . And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near."

Tafseer

{ يسألك الناس } أهل مكة { عن الساعة } متى تكون { قل إنما علمها عند الله وما يدريك } يعلمك بها: أي أنت لا تعلمها { لعلَّ الساعة تكون } توجد { قريبا} .

{People ask you} the people of Mecca {about the Hour} when it will be {Say, “Its knowledge is only with God. And what will make you know?”} He will not make you know it: meaning you do not know it {Perhaps the Hour will be} will come to pass {soon}.
