إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى

Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,

Tafseer

{ إن هذا } إفلاحُ من تزكى وكون الآخرة خيرا { لفي الصحف الأولى } أي المنزلة قبل القرآن.

{This} is the success of those who purify themselves and the Hereafter is better {is in the former scriptures} that is, the one revealed before the Qur’an.
