6 : 4

وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom.

Tafseer

{ وما تأتيهم } أي أهل مكة { من } زائدة { آية من آيات ربهم } من القرآن { إلا كانوا عنها معرضين } .

And spilling any of the people of Mecca extra verse of the Quran from their Lord only were reported vulnerable.
