7 : 192

وَلاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ لَهُمْ نَصْرًا وَلاَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ

And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.

Tafseer

{ ولا يستطيعون لهم } أي لعابديهم { نصرا ولا أنفسهم يَنْصرون } بمنعها ممن أراد بهم سوءا من كسر أو غيره، والاستفهام للتوبيخ .

Can not afford them any victory Abidém not themselves be helped by preventing those who wanted them worse than break or other, and the question of reprimand.
