7 : 98

أَوَ أَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَى أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?

Tafseer

{ أو أمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا ضحى } نهارا { وهم يلعبون } .

Or the security of the people of the villages that they sacrificed Our Might day they play.
