2 : 86

أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالآَخِرَةِ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

Tafseer

Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

Tafseer

{ أولئك الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة } بأن آثروها عليها { فلا يخفَّف عنهم العذاب ولا هم يُنصرون } يمنعون منه .

Those who bought life Hereafter that Atrōha it does not relieve their suffering nor shall they be helped prevented it.
