Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces.
Tafseer
{ تبارك } تكاثر خير { الذي إن شاء جعل لك خيرا من ذلك } الذي قالوه من الكنز والبستان{ جناتٍ تجري من تحتها الأنهار } أي في الدنيا لأنه شاء أن يعطيه إياها في الآخرة { ويجعلْ } بالجزم { لك قصورا } أيضا، وفي قراءة بالرفع استئنافا .
{Blessed is He} Who multiplies the good {who, if He wills, will grant you something better than that} which they said of the treasure and the garden {gardens beneath which rivers flow} that is, in this world because He willed to give it to him in the Hereafter {and He will grant} in the jussive {for you palaces} also, and in a reading in the nominative case as a resumption.
