لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَا أَنْعَامًا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيراً

That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.

Tafsir

{To revive thereby a dead land} with the lightening of the word, the masculine and feminine are equal, he made it masculine in consideration of the place {and give it to drink} that is, the water {of what We created as livestock} camels, cattle and sheep {and many people} the plural of human, and its origin is Anasin, so the nun was changed to a ya and the ya was assimilated into it, or the plural of human.
