15 : 74

فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.

Tafseer

{ فجعلنا عاليها } أي قراهم { سافلها } بأن رفعها جبريل إلى السماء وأسقطها مقلوبة إلى الأرض { وأمطرنا عليهم حجارة من سجيل } طين طبخ بالنار .

We utterly confounded any villages Savlha that Gabriel brought to the sky and drop to the ground upside down and rained on them stones of baked clay cooking with fire.
