84 : 14

إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah ].

Tafseer

{ إنه ظن أن } مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها محذوف، أي أنه { لن يحور } يرجع إلى ربه.

{He thought that} is a lightened form of the heavy one and its subject is omitted, meaning that {he would not return} to his Lord.
