18 : 83

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ قُلْ سَأَتْلُو عَلَيْكُم مِّنْهُ ذِكْرًا

And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, "I will recite to you about him a report."

Tafseer

{ ويسألونك } أي اليهود { عن ذي القرنين } اسمه الاسكندر ولم يكن نبيا { قل سأتلو } سأقص { عليكم منه } من حاله { ذكرا } خبرا .

{And they ask you} meaning the Jews {about Dhul-Qarnayn} whose name was Alexander and he was not a prophet. {Say, I will recite} I will tell {to you about him} his situation {a mention} a report.
