67 : 10

وَقَالُوا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِي أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

Tafseer

{ وقالوا لو كنا نسمع } أي سماع تفهم { أو نعقل } أي عقل تفكر { ما كنا في أصحاب السعير } .

And they said, “If only we had listened or reasoned, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.”
