67 : 16

أَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاء أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ

Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?

Tafseer

{ أأمنتم } بتحقيق الهمزتين وتسهيل الثانية وإدخال ألف بينهما وبين الأخرى وتركه وإبدالها ألفا { من في السماء } سلطانه وقدرته { أن يخسف } بدل من مَن { بكم الأرض فإذا هي تمور } تتحرك بكم وترتفع فوقكم.

{Do you believe} by realizing the two hamzas and facilitating the second and inserting an alif between them and the other and leaving it and replacing it with an alif {of He in the heaven} His authority and power {that He should cause the earth to swallow you up} instead of {of He} {and then it will sway} moving with you and rising above you.
