The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].

{ اقتربت الساعة } قربت القيامة { وانشق القمر } انفلق فلقتين على أبي قبيس وقيقعان آية له صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد سئلها فقال ( اشهدوا ) رواه الشيخان .
{The Hour has drawn near} The Resurrection has drawn near {and the moon has split} It split into two halves over Abu Qubays and Qaiqan, a sign for him, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he was asked about it and he said (Bear witness). Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
