And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,
Tafseer
{ وحملناه } أي نوحا { على } سفينة { ذات ألواح ودُسر } وهو ما تشد به الألواح من المسامير وغيرها وأحدها دسار ككتاب .
{And We carried him} meaning Noah {on} a ship {of planks and nails} which is what the planks are fastened with, such as nails and other things, and one of them is a dasar like a book.
