ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ

A [large] company of the former peoples

{ ثلة من الأولين } مبتدأ، أي جماعة من الأمم الماضية .

{A group of the ancients} is a subject, meaning a group of past nations.
