3 : 123

وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah ; perhaps you will be grateful.

Tafseer

ونزل لما هزموا تذكيرا لهم بنعمة الله { ولقد نصركم الله ببدر } موضع بين مكة والمدينة { وأنتم أذلة } بقلة العدد والسلاح { فاتقوا الله لعلكم تشكرون } نعمه .

And got a reminder of what they were defeated by the grace of God I God help Badr position between Mecca and Medina and you submissive lack of numbers and arms Obey Allah that ye may be grateful blessing.
