3 : 137

قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ فَسِيرُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذَّبِينَ

Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied.

Tafseer

ونزل في هزيمة أحد { قد خلَت } مضت { من قبلكم سُنَن } طرائق في الكفار بإمهالهم ثم أخذهم { فسيروا } أيها المؤمنون { في الأرض فانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين } الرسل أي آخر أمرهم من الهلاك فلا تحزنوا لغلبتهم فإنا أمهلناهم لوقتهم .

And went down in defeat hath A ago by you Sunan methods in Bamhalam then took them infidels Walk O believers in the earth and see how was the end of the rejecters any other commanded the apostles of doom do not grieve for the preponderance of their time then we Omhlnahm.
