فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

So they were struck by the evil consequences of what they did and were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

Tafseer

فأصابهم سيئات ما عملوا } أي جزاءها { وحاق } نزل { بهم ما كانوا به يستهزءُون } أي العذاب .

Vosabhm the disadvantage that they have done any punishable and down catch them what they were mocked by any torment .
