16 : 43

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Tafseer

And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.

Tafseer

{ وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالاً نوحي إليهم } لا ملائكة { فاسألوا أهل الذكر } العلماء بالتوراة والإنجيل { إن كنتم لا تعلمون } ذلك ، فإنهم يعلمونه وأنتم إلى تصديقهم أقرب من تصديق المؤمنين بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم .

And We sent you preach to them, but men are not angels ask the people mentioned in the Torah and Bible scholars that you do not know it, they know it and you believe them closer to ratification of the believers in Muhammad peace be upon him.
