{ أولم يروْا إلى ما خلق الله من شيء } له ظل كشجرة وجبل { تتفيَّؤ } تتميل { ظلاله عن اليمين والشمائل } جمع شمال أي عن جانبيهما أول النهار وآخره { سجداً لله } حال أي خاضعين له بما يراد منهم { وهم } أي الظلال { داخرون } صاغرون نزلوا منزلة العقلاء .
