16 : 87

وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَى اللّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ

And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

Tafseer

{ وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم } أي استسلموا لحكمه { وضل } غاب { عنهم ما كانوا يفترون } من أن آلهتهم تشفع لهم .

And threw to the peace of God that day surrendered any of his deities missed them what they invent of the gods intercede for them.
