And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].

{ وقد خاب } خسر { مَنْ دسَّاها } أخفاها بالمعصية وأصله دسها أبدلت السين الثانية ألفا تخفيفا.
{And he who concealed it} has failed and lost {whoever hid it} through disobedience. The original form is ḍasā. The second sin was replaced with an alif for ease.
