إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.

Tafseer

{ إنما أموالكم وأولادكم فتنة } لكم شاغلة عن أمور الآخرة { والله عنده أجر عظيم } فلا تفوتوه باشتغالكم بالأموال والأولاد.

{Your wealth and your children are only a trial} to distract you from the affairs of the Hereafter {and Allah has with Him a great reward}, so do not miss it by being preoccupied with your wealth and children.
