النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ

It is the piercing star -

Tafseer

{ النجم } أي الثريا أو كل نجم { الثاقب } المضيء لثقبه الظلام بضوئه وجواب القسم.

{The star} meaning the Pleiades or every star {the piercing} that shines by piercing the darkness with its light and the answer to the oath.
