41 : 13

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ

But if they turn away, then say, "I have warned you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt [that struck] 'Aad and Thamud.

Tafseer

{ فإن أعرضوا } أي كفار مكة عن الإيمان بعد هذا البيان { فقل أنذرتكم } خوَّفتكم { صاعقةً مثل صاعقة عادٍ وثمود } عذاباً يهلككم مثل الذي أهلكهم .

{But if they turn away} meaning the infidels of Mecca from faith after this statement, {then say, “I have warned you” I have frightened you {of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt of ‘Aad and Thamud”} a punishment that will destroy you like that which destroyed them.
