31 : 6

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

Tafseer

And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

Tafseer

{ ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث } أي ما يلهي منه عما يعني { ليضلَّ } بفتح الياء وضمها { عن سبيل الله } طريق الإسلام { بغير علمٍ ويتخذها } بالنصب عطفاً على يضل، وبالرفع عطفاً على يشتري { هزؤاً } مهزوءاً بها { أولئك لهم عذاب مهين } ذو إهانة.

{And among the people is he who buys the amusement of talk} that is, that which distracts from what he means {to mislead} with the opening of the ya’ or its damma {from the way of Allah} the path of Islam {without knowledge and takes it} in the accusative in apposition to mislead, and in the nominative in apposition to buy {in mockery} mocked by it {those will have a humiliating punishment} one of humiliation.
