Tafseer
{ فخرج على قومه من المحراب } أي المسجد وكانوا ينتظرون فتحه ليصلوا فيه بأمره على العادة { فأوحى } أشار { إليهم أن سبحوا } صلوا { بُكرة وعشيا } أوائل النهار وأواخره على العادة فعلم بمنعه من كلامهم حملها بيحيى، وبعد ولادته بسنتين قال الله تعالى له :
{So he came out to his people from the sanctuary} meaning the mosque, and they were waiting for it to be opened so that they could pray in it by his command as was the custom. {Then he inspired} he indicated {to them to glorify} pray {morning and evening} the beginning and end of the day as was the custom. So he knew that he was preventing them from speaking to him. She carried John, and two years after his birth, God Almighty said to him:
