19 : 14

وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا

And dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant.

Tafseer

{ وبرّا بوالديه } أي: محسنا إليهما { ولم يكن جبارا } متكبرا { عصيا } عاصيا لربه .

{And he was dutiful to his parents} meaning: he was kind to them. {And he was not arrogant} or disobedient to his Lord.
