20 : 16

) فَلاَ يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَتَرْدَى(

So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish.

Tafseer

{ فلا يَصُدنَّكَ } يصرفنَّك { عنها } أي عن الإيمان بها { من لا يؤمن بها واتبع هواه } في إنكارها { فَتَردى } أي فتهلك إن صددت عنها .

{So let not he who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it} that is, from believing in it {lest you perish} that is, you will be destroyed if you turn away from it.
