الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَى

The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.

Tafseer

هو { الرحمن على العرش } وهو في اللغة سرير الملك { استوى } اكتفاء يليق به .

He is {the Most Gracious on the Throne}, which in the language is the king’s bed. {He is established} as a sufficiency befitting Him.
