10 : 14

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ فِي الأَرْضِ مِن بَعْدِهِم لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ

Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.

Tafseer

{ ثم جعلناكم } يا أهل مكة { خلائف } جمع خليفة { في الأرض من بعدهم لننظر كيف تعملون } فيها وهل تعتبرون بهم فتصدقوا رسلنا .

Then made you, O people of Mecca Khalaúv collection Khalifa in the ground to look after them, how do you Do you consider where their Vtsedkoa messengers.
