12 : 74

قَالُواْ فَمَا جَزَآؤُهُ إِن كُنتُمْ كَاذِبِينَ

The accusers said, "Then what would be its recompense if you should be liars?"

Tafseer

{ قالوا } أي المؤذن وأصحابه { فما جزاؤه } أي السارق { إن كنتم كاذبين } في قولكم ما كنا سارقين ووجد فيكم .

Said any of the muezzin and his companions what reward any thief if you are lying in your opinion what we were robbers and found you.
