{ يا أيها المزمل } النبي وأصله المتزمل أُدغمت التاء في الزاي، أي المتلفف بثيابه حين مجيء الوحي له خوفا من لهيبته.
{O you wrapped in your garments} The Prophet, whose original form is “al-Mutazzammil”, the “ta” was assimilated into the “zay”, meaning the one wrapped in his garments when the revelation came to him, fearing its awe.
