Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL ANBIYAA' [54]

قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنتُمْ أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

He said, "You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error."
