Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL FURQAAN [38]

وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَأَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ كَثِيراً

And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them.
