Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL KAHFI [11]

فَضَرَبْنَا عَلَى آذَانِهِمْ فِي الْكَهْفِ سِنِينَ عَدَدًا

So We cast [a cover of sleep] over their ears within the cave for a number of years.
