Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL MAA-IDAH [9]

وَعَدَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them there is forgiveness and great reward.
