Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL MU'MINUUN [34]

وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَرًا مِثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ

And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
