Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AN NAJM [52]

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَى

And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing.
