Tafseer Ibn Kathir of ASH SHAAFFAAT [31]

فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ

So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
