Tafseer Ibn Kathir of ATH THUUR [27]

فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ

So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.
