Tafseer Ibn Kathir of IBRAHIM [15]

وَاسْتَفْتَحُواْ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ

And they requested victory from Allah , and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.
