Tafseer Ibn Kathir of MARYAM [55]

وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا

And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing.
