Tafseer Ibn Kathir of YAA SIIN [6]

لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ

That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.
